internet explorer

    a malicious reinstallation of my operating system (ME)also deleted my internet explorer 6.0 and replaced it with internet explorer 5.5. I need to reinstall my ie6.0 sp1, but am advised that i can't do it directly over ie5.5. i tried to install ie5.5 sp2 but was unable to install. please advise.

    You can't install IE6 over IE5?!!?! That's news to me, because I do it quite often! If you were to follow this link, you can download the setup for IE6, and from there, it should be just a matter of installing.

    also unable to install ie6 over current browser. If I am correct, you should d/l setup, double click and follow instructions. What's so difficult? Still can't do it.

    Could d/l modzilla and forget about IE I suppose.
