internet exporer size

why does my internet explorer keep opening up a lot smaller than the screen. I guess about half. I can maximize it and the next start up IE shrinks again.

 

Open IE, right click down in your taskbar, left click on "Tile Windows horizontally"

 

I think this has nothing to do with his issue. Would you like to elaborate on your thinking here?

N84Christ, have you tried maximizing IE and closing it. Normally, it will re-open with the same window size/status it was in when closed.

There is a freeware software product called IE New Window Maximizer which will solve this problem for you by automatically maximizing every new Internet Explorer (and Outlook Express) window that you open.

I'll try it to see if will solve my problem with opening up Control Panel. Bazza

 

This is what works for me - IE remembers last size AND position! Shouldn't need a whole program for it!

 

Great to be able to open individual windows, in customised opening. I need to solve a problem with Control Panel so will give this a try. Bazza
