internet games

    hi im having trouble loading internet games and some pages it starts to load them and then just stops especially at pogo.com
    ive checked for viruses and things with ad aware and nothing comes up . ty for any help you can give is my comp info

    amd athlon
    xp 2000+
    1.67 ghz
    256 mb ram

    if anything else is need please just let me know

    What Operating System are you using eg. Win98, ME or XP?


    Best first guess is that you dont have Java installed.

    By default XP does have java installed but its not really capable of running Java applets ( kinda like that pogo.com will use )


    so 2 ways..........

    MS Java is available here ( I posted this site as finding it on Windows Update is a pain because its listed under a Security Update! IF you want to get it from Microsoft it is version 5.00.3810 but its the same file as posted below )
    Download MS Java 3810 here



    Or from SUN microsystems ( Originators of Java Virtual Machine )
    http://java.sun.com/getjava/download.html *BUT SUNs site seems down at the moment*

    maybe suns website is powered to a infinite improbabbility engine, which is powered by a "nice hot cup of coffee" :)
