Internet Icon

Whenever I boot up somtimes, the internet notification icon on the system tray disappears. When that happens and I go onto the properties of the connection and I see the box that states, "show notification icon.." is unchecked so I check it and everything's good. The problem is, two or three boot ups later, the icon disappears again and the box is unchecked. Why does it keep unchecking itself? Thanks.

 

Try to do this...

Go into Start -> Settings -> Network Connections.
Right click on your Internet Icon and select properties.
Under General Tab make sure that the Show Connction Icon is checked.

If it keep dissappering try to check may be there is some definition in your internet dailer (if you use one...)

yeah, it keeps disappearing and no I don't use an internet dialer but I am part of a wireless network on which i share my internet connection.
