I only had a few minutes to look into this today, so don't have much info. Boss bought a Dell laptop. It connects to the wireless router, I can ping Google, IP is assigned, TCP/IP is enabled. Internet Explorer will not open any page. Says page can't be displayed, just as if it did not have an IP or internet access.

Like I said, did not have much time to look into it. Any ideas on where to start trouble shooting this thing? We have a lot of these laptops, Dell Latitude D 630 (I think) dual core CPU 3Gigs of RAM Win 7. Decent little laptop, we use them to run our printers.

I would first try another browser.

Check "Internet Options" ...Properties/Connections tab for correct settings; i.e. lan, proxy, etc.
