Internet keeps disconnecting

My wifi router recently just stopped working so I bought a new one. It works just fine the night I tried it. Then the following days i experience disconnections every 10 seconds or so. I tried to use an ethernet cable but it still disconnects me every 10 seconds but this time it reconnects faster. When using the ethernet cable, the disconnections are not noticeable while light browsing, but when playing a game called League of Legends it sure is an annoyance. My ping is a constant 32 but it disconnects everytime. It displays "Attempting to reconnect" for about 10-20 seconds before it reconnects then after about 5 seconds it'll just disconnect again. Based on that i can say that the wireless connection has worse problems. I get disconnected completely after 2 mins of usage. Sometimes dns errors are experienced.
