Internet Optimization

On my laptop and desktop, I've noticed I get a bit of lag while playing Tera online. Is there a software that would optimize my connection and reduce the lag? It gets annoying sometimes.

Do some basic browser cleanup: clear disk cache and cookies.

The SpeedGuide did nothing because I do not have admin privileges. I already covered the bases in the 4 Steps file, but I do appreciate the reminder.

Tried the Max Internet Optimizer, but the pay barrier stopped me. Are there any comparable internet optimization programs that are free? If not, will I be able to use MIO on multiple computers instead of buying a registration key for each one? Thanks!

My bad. I own my laptop and desktop, but I mean it's my stepdad's internet connection, so I'm not the one with admin privileges concerning that.
