These questions could be answered with lots of searches by me but I think that a room full of Geeks would be my best resource. I am assembling a business plan to fund my station and I need the simplest of questions answered for potential investors.

How easy is it to get live streaming audio on wireless devices? I know about some items and free programs that link a phone to files at home to access your playlist but I am only interested in live.

I am in the USA and I know that other countries have moved many steps forward of us in creating wireless repeater network grid stuff. There is a website that lists the hot spots and Starbucks too.

Phones, laptops, standalone devices whatever. Thanks for the help folks.

If by wireless you are talking something like wireless networks it should be no problem. Regular speed wireless (B) can handle audio just fine, higher speed standards (G and above) can handle streaming video.
