internet shutting down constantly (w98)

First off, sorry I posted this in software first. I didn't see this one in the list of threads. Anyways...

I am having a problem with my windows 98 internet. When I go to (almost) any site, it gives me that box that says windows must close and gives you the error report SEND option.

For instance, I can't go to yahoo.com or myspace.com. I can go to majorgeeks.com, but it comes up again when I click "support forum". I can also go to google.com.

It isn't just in IE either. I also can't receive my mail in outlook express, but limewire works perfectly.
