Can someone advise me to the proper settings for Cache Cleaner? I know this is likely the cause of my browser [firefox] slowing to a crawl . I must be wiping out a file or something. This always occurs after running CC.I use CC 3-4 times a day so my system does not get bogged down with internet junk.I am new here and only know enough to function reasonably proficient on my computer. Thank You in advance for any help.

I'm not too sure, but I think that when you run Cache Cleaner it deletes your cookies. Your cookies are basically saved files of websites you've visited so you won't have to load them all over again and it makes it faster. What you should probably do instead of Cache Cleaner is delete your temporary files. I don't think you have any cookies in there...

under normal circumstances you should not need to run Ccleaner 3 or 4 times a day 1 or 2 in a week is more than enough unless you are visiting illicit sites I,E porn or certain P2P sites and then you will without a doubt begin to pick up lots of junk plus if you are really unlucky somthing much more serious.
i suggest you have a good look at the sites you visit and as for downloads most things you can legally want are here at MGs. http://www.my-smileys.de/smileys3/49_4.gif
