Internet slowed way down over nite

I dont know if this is the right place this is my first time.
I am running windows vista and now when i try to use internet explorer it takes for ever when it does load but 90% off the time the page wont even load, ive run ccleaner and spybot seek n destroy. My physical memory is high and there is 64 processes running this all happened over night pretty much i was always able to jump page to page instantly. Any help on this would be very appreciated as my computer is gonna be a frisbee soon :cry

 

I ran all the software from another post to was a 7 step procedure i think it was to clean everything i still have 62 processes runnin and my internet is so slow cant even watch a vidoe feed

 

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode with Networking? (F8 at boot up.)
Have you tried an alternate browser - Firefox possibly.
Trying to see if this is browser specific or another problem with possible software conflicts.
Any new software or hardware added recently?

 

Ive done everything possible in the clean up department
im running win vista i booted in safe mode and nothing changed i went to the addon manger diasabled everything possible and its not helping and as for software the only software i installed was avast but that was after the fact i installed avast to see if it would find something

 

any chance your security software is involved, like KIS 2010? the slowness is a known issue beginning with 9.0.0.463; supposedly even worse with 9.0.0.723. a hotfix supposedly just came out (earlier today) and i'm waiting for further info from the Kaspersky forums since no link's posted yet.

if not, then ignore this info.

 

Im using avast 4.8 pro so i dont know if there is any issues with it but i had these issues before i installed avast
