Internet speed slowed? :(

Well i'm now connected to a cable modem and running at 4048 kbits/s about 500kb/s download rate. Since i spoted a virus and uninstalled him succesfully, my internet started to act strange, it now only runs at 170 kb/s but the thing is that the other member in our network is still downloading at 500kb/s. so i wanted to ask why i have thoes slow transfer rates,

also a dutch speed test site, closest one to me shows: 140.3 KByte/sec (=1122 kbps)

 

No succes mate, it still keeps going on the same rate. I have a windows system with no firewall's, i share my internet through a router and the router is now in a DMZ mode to my pc, so that all ports are open to me. i have all updates and all new drivers.

damn internet, 1 week of trying to get it online, onse online, being slow . but ok.
