Internet working, but does nothing when I "send" information on certain sites

I recently got my Toshiba satellite repaired by having a new hard drive put in. Ever since then, my internet is working except for when I try to send information. For example, when I enter my username for my banking website and hit send, nothing happens. When I try to purchase something, and hit purchase, nothing happens. When I try to print an internet coupon and hit print, nothing happens. But when I log into sites like this one, or yahoo or facebook, I can get in. What is wrong?? Please help, as I need to access my bank account and pay bills!

    Thanks!

    Hi

What did the repairers do to your PC as in did they re-install windows and if so what version and service pack of Windows was it?

Alot of sites these days need Java or Flash to work so do you have latest versions of those installed?

    Adobe Flash
    Sun Java

These are 32bit versions as you have not told us what Windows version and bit version you are using.

I had to get the recovery media from Toshiba and it was the Windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I have listed that I have Adobe flash player plug in 10 and Adobe flash player 11 active 64bit, Adobe reader and Adobe air installed. Should I remover the Adobe 10?

I have Java 6 update 30 installed. When I went to check my Java to update it, the Java installer said that...

"We have detected you may be viewing this page in a 32-bit browser. If you use 32-bit and 64-bit browsers interchangeably, you will need to install both 32-bit and 64-bit Java in order to have the Java plug-in for both browsers."

    I am confused about that.

I don't know what the service pack it is, where would I find that at?

Yesterday, I was able to get onto my online banking, but when I first entered my user name and clicked enter, it did nothing. I refreshed the page, and tried again and it worked. I was able to get to the next page where I enter my passcode, but when I hit enter it didn't do anything. I refreshed the page, and it got me into my account. I tried to do this again today and it didn't work.

Ok, I updated my Java, and installed both the 64 and 32 bit as it suggested. I have IE 9 which says it is a 256-bit. Tried again to get onto my banking website, and when I type in my user name and hit enter, it changes it to asteriks, but does not forward to the next page. Is it the IE 9 that is messing it all up?

    Windows 7 home premium
    version 6.1 (build 7601) service pack 1

    Please help...
I've even tried installing google chrome. and while it lets me get onto the bank website, it tells me that I am having too many long running scripts. I don't know what to do, I have both the 32bit and 64 bit javas installed. Why aren't my javas working?
