Interstate 76

Have you ever played the old pc game interstate 76?
if you have and loved like i did let's hope they come out with a version of it that works in xp.

 

Interstate 82 came out few years ago, and it was so poorly made it died right there on the spot, which was a real shame since 72 was so good.

 

yeah, I loved that game, and still have it.. I was going to install it on my XP machine, but I can't find the 2nd disk.

I beat it on my Win 98 Packard Bell a few years ago, had a really good story to it and a cool graphics engine too for the time!

 

Yeah I loved the retro ambience...and it was the first game that I owned that worked 10x better when I updated Directx. Can't remember what version it was but I remember having installed one of the first cheaper AGP cards (ATI I think) on my old HP (wife still won't let me geek up and build my own). I remember driving and full horizon scenes filled with enemy cars creeping along...I got mad but then I downloaded the latest version of Directx and they flew smooth and pretty. Great game, but like someone said it doesn't work on XP...or has anyone got it to work?

 

I remember interstate 82 and it was not very good, in the the mission were you where in area 52 there was random lockups (arghh!)
And activision never came out with a patch for it!

 

Yea man! I remeber Interstate 76, was one of my favourtie games until xp came out. Would be great if someone finds/makes a patch for it!
