interstate 82 and windows XP

i been trying to get interstate 82 to work with xp all day and cant seem to get it to work i had it working one time before like last year but uninstalled it now i reinstalled it and cant get it to work i keep getting different errors with no change to compatibility mode on the shortcut on the desktop i get these errors after the splash screen (now i like the errors interstate gives you lol)

now if i launch it from the icon in its folder the game starts and you can start a new game but on the first one when its showing the movie if you hit anykey it crashes back to desktop and give that lame error from windows to report it.

anyone know what i might try. i done tried messing with compatibility and such. does someone know if there maybe a patch or something?

I had no trouble getting interstate 82 to work on my windows xp home edition based machine but the sound quality was lousy so it's not worth bothering with. plus it's no where as good as interstate 76 but that game i never could get to work on xp, plus i noticed you maching is overclocked you might try it setting back to default settings and see if that helps.
