Introducing DDR4...

Not a quick read, but I'm leaning towards it being required reading.

A couple of developers at work built a workstation for one of our designers with DDR4.

The thing flies:
16 core Xeon with passive cooling (full load, 60c)
Super Micro MB with two CPU slots
32GB ECC DDR4
GTX 760
512GB SSD
Corsair Carbine 540 case


We are supposed to be building four more so us developers and our other designer has one.

WOW.

That is serious proof good things can come in small packages. How much RAM does the card have onboard?

 

I typoed specs. Its a 6 core, not 16.

2GB on video card.

The motherboard supports 1TB of DDR4.

I am jealous. My quad core Xeon w/8GB of ram is getting long in the tooth.

 

Only one CPU onboard?
