Introduction and question about audio

Hi everyone, glad to be a member of your forum. I do need some help though on my HP Pavilion model number a6703w. It was upgraded to windows 7 ultimate. Unfortunately my sound does not work. Its giving me a code 10 error. Anyway i could fix this? it is a 32 bit operating system with AMD processors. Any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

 

RGWH, you might also verify this is your HP product. HP is notorious about having dozens of sub-models, too, and if this is a Win7 Audio Driver problem, then that SubModel number becomes important so the precise driver-version can be located and installed.

Let us know if the sound-system worked with Win7 Ultimate before or if this is a new problem, recurring since the Win7 installation (which would likely indicate Driver issue).
