Invalid Memorex DVD+R

I was not sure if this was the appropriate forum for this thread, so please move it if it is not.

I record some TV programs with a DVD Player/Recorder. I have had no issues with it, until I used some Memorex DVD+R discs. I realize that they have a bad reputation, so I should not have used them and will not buy them again. The disc edge even feels "sticky", which I have not found with similar media.

About 15% of the discs read "Invalid Disc" when I load them into the player. I did not have a chance to finalize them before this happened. I've isolated the problem to the memorex discs because I do not have this problem with any other brand of DVD.

Do I have any reasonable chance to recover the data off of these unfinalized discs? I have tried Minitool Power Data Recovery, but every disc only reports one 31MB. .cda file on it (the only files they should have are those recorded by the DVD recorder) I have looked at other tools here on Majorgeeks, but am not sure what other tool would be helpful.

Please offer any advice and/or thoughts you have that may be of assistance. Thank you.

 

I've always found ISO Buster useful for this.

 

ISO Buster has proved very satisfactory for this operation. It recovers all of the data and everything is completely viewable. I would highly recommend it for anyone finding themselves dealing with a similar issue. Thank you very much for the recommendation!
