    Hi Everyone!
I am having a serious problem
I bought a new 200Gb external hard drive...after formatting it using NTFS, I now try to open it in Windows Explorer and I get an error saying "invalid parameter", and that's it...it's not opening.
I use WinXP, there is nothing I can do with the HD anymore...anyone has any idea of what I could do?
    Thanks a million :)

Try reformatting it if possible. Does windows detect it still. Try reinstalling usb drivers to make sure thats correctly functioning. Make sure you have updated drivers for motherboard and os as they could be a strange but possible fix to the problem your having. Let me know if you still have this problem after the above suggestions.
