Invalid syntax error

Hello,

My browser was recently hijacked by about:blank and a porn dialer.

Daemon at spywareinfo.com helped me lose both but for the past three days, whenever I put a password and username in a url (e.g. http://test:test@anysite.com/members) I receive an "invalid syntax error" in Internet Explorer.

Spywareinfo.com appears to be closed...

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks Destructo but those solutions don't deal with my problem...

I got rid of about:blank etc but somehow while doing so, this new problem has developed
