    Re: Investigation Warning, HIJACK LOG

It looks like youre clean there... as long as you WANT weatherbug that is. I hope you've run SpyBot / Adaware before posting that log, or I may have to shoot you! :p READ THIS FIRST!
You might wanna get rid of these if spybot/adaware didnt get em :

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchURL = C:\WINDOWS\system32\searchbar.html
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = C:\WINDOWS\system32\searchbar.html

    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = C:\WINDOWS\system32\searchbar.html
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = C:\WINDOWS\system32\searchbar.html
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://e-plus.cc/search.php?aff_id=46&keyword=%s
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchAssistant = C:\WINDOWS\system32\searchbar.html

    Other than that, looks clean!

    Adaware
That's the easier to use of the two. Regularly updated and gets most things.

    SpyBot S&D
Gets some of the things that Adaware doesnt.

    Re: Investigation Warning, HIJACK LOG

It's safe to fix everything that Adaware and Spybot find. It's all quarantined/backed up just in case something breaks, but that very rarely happens.

Know that pr0n sites, legal or otherwise are going to try to install crapware on your PC. It's up to you to take steps to protect yourself. Here's a good how-to guide:

I would get rid of the WildTangent crap too. But that's up to you. You may use some of their on line game stuff. But it is spy/ad/junk ware. If you don't want it, use Add/Remove programs to uninstall it first then look at your HiJaak This log and if these entries are still there, fix them:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [wcmdmgr] C:\WINDOWS\wt\updater\wcmdmgrl.exe -launch

Well acutally you cannot fix the below item from HiJaak This you would just delete the wt directory:
    C:\WINDOWS\wt\updater\wcmdmgr.exe

I agree with Goldfish you should fix these too:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = C:\WINDOWS\system32\searchbar.html
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = C:\WINDOWS\system32\searchbar.html
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = C:\WINDOWS\system32\searchbar.html
