IOBIT compatible with...McAfee?

Hi all, I have Windows Vista xp or Home, one or the other and have McAfee that my hubby has paid for.
I want to download Advanced SystemCare 4 from IOBIT because I have heard nothing but good things about it.
Too many times my 'little lappy' has had to go to the computer doctor at Office Depot (that's where the McAfee came from), and I just want to make sure that all will be well.
Please, I could use all the info. on this that I can get before I do something dumb.
So sorry to sound like a bit of a ditz, but it's been quite some time since I've needed to call on Major Geeks to help me. You all are awesome.

For my one cent's worth, I use ASC, albeit the free version, and have nothing but praise for it. Never had a problem and cleans out and corrects most of the problems.

Sounds like you either have Vista or XP Home. You should see one of these come up on the screen when you start your computer.
McAfee is for virus protection, while ASC is more of a clean up and maintenance software. You should have no trouble running both from that viewpoint. However...
I recently updated ASC to the new version (v. 4, I think), and I started having problems with it, so I uninstalled it. I have XP Pro.
You should also be careful what you do with it, like cleaning up the registry, which can cause problems.
Also, I doubt that ASC will deal with the types of problems that would cause you to take your computer for repair. I suppose it could help with slowness, although to get it to address that kind of problem in a way that would make a noticeable difference, you would have to know what you were doing.
No problem installing it, but I don't think that will be your answer.
