Just received my new Dell computer with Windows 10. I have backed up files on my previous computer Windows 7. I connected the iomega 1TB to the new computer and I tried to open one of the files (Word) and the message I get is "Word, cannot open this file because it is larger than 512 megabytes (E;\...\Ril3 gqdkup 8-17-2016 1-13 pm. This is what I know : PBD is a backup file created by EaseUS Todo Backup, a backup and restore utility for Windows. It may include system or user files and can be used for storing entire disk partitions. It is often saved on external media or some other device that can be used to restore files in case the local computer is damaged.
I just don't know how to open these files - perhaps I need to download EASEUS TODO BACKUP into my new computer, Windows 10?

Yes. That .PBD file is the backup file you created with EaseUS of your Win 7 drive and cannot be opened in Word. You'd use it to restore your Win 7 drive if you developed problems with your Win 7 like corruption, malware, etc.
