my buddy and i have been trying to play golden tee golf together.we can play anyone except each other.we have checked our firewalls and they are fine, like i said we can play anyone but each other.when we ping each others address he sends 4 receives 4 lost o. when i ping his i get 4 sent 0 received 4 lost.someone tells me he can see me but i cant see him,so he must have my address blocked somehow.does anyone know how to unblock it,we cannot figure it out

Are you and your friend on the same network? What about your OS?

Are the others you can golf with on you LAN or over the internet? Is your buddy on your LAN or over the internet? If the others are on the internet and your buddy is on your LAN, it sounds like a firewall problem. I use ZoneAlarm and I have to open specific IP's or ranges in order to have access to them.

LAN would mean your essentialy in the same building, not utilizing the internet but you have answered that by telling me that your in different states. You also said you turned off your firewalls. Thats where you would open your IP addresses and ranges but you don't need to worry about that because your not on a LAN which stands for Local Area Network. It sounds like one of you still might have some sort of firewall running or perhaps you need to foreward a specific port in your router to your computer.
