IP blocker

hey :wave
im playing an olnine rpg and was wandering how i can get my ip blocked from the server so i cant be ip banned.i have read on the internet it can be done but most were about internet surfing and blocking ip for that which i dont want...i want my ip to be blocked from the game server.can someone tell me how to do it or send a link to a page which tells me how to do that plz? thanks

 

not sure if that's entirely possible, without using a proxy server. If you try to block your ip, the game won't let you connect. check the web for some free proxy sites. just be aware, there are alot of those sites that have ads, popups, and i'm sure, some malware.

 

Most IP addresses assigned to a home router or modem are dynamic, in that they change every 24 hours. So this may be less of an issue than you think.

 

will a proxy server hide my ip from the game company then? also is there any good free proxy servers you could recommend please?

yeah, that's what proxy servers will do, you have to go through them, and they will hide your own. I don't use them so I wouldn't be able to give you any good ones. Maybe someone else could.

My ip is dynamic as well, but I've had the same for a long time. My isp might change it once in a while, but it seems i have the same 2 or 3 all the time.

 

What game is it you are playing? This little bit of information may help?

Are you playing a erm, *wink wink pirate wink wink* copy or something? or cheating :O!!

 

im cheating on this game and dont want to get banned
