IP issue

I have a static ip adress and when my net is working slow and i diagnose the issue I usually get this report. Your device appears to be correctly configured but the device (dns server) or resource is not responding. I do not have a router, I'm not exactly sure what it is a simple half moon shaped device that requires a power adapter. I have satelite internet and maybe this is my issue, but its all they have available for a small town.
My dns numbers are
64.184.252.252
64.184.248.248

I have called my isp several times over the course of time, and they can never seem to solve my issue, and they have no idea what would cause this, they always just say your signal strength looks good. At times the internet can work great and and occasionally it will hardly work at all. Is there anything I can do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I don't see any additional DNS servers for omni-net.net.

You can try adding 4.2.2.2 as one of your servers but it slows down pretty often lately too.

There are other DNS servers that aren't tied to an ISP but i'm not familiar with them. Maybe someone else here uses them?

 

You could use Googles 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

 

I've tried that and the issue still pops up and slow internet still is an issue, could this possibly be a hardware issue? Thanks for all the help so far, I've tried everything I could think of, but to be honest I'm not nearly as computer savy as all of you guys.
