I have a iphone and I want to mirror(not sure if that's the correct word) the screen so whatever shows on my iphone, shows on my TV screen

I can use a wire, hdmi
but I was hoping for some kind of wireless app/attachment that I'd plug into the HDMI plug and get my phone to stream to without a wire

    any thoughts?
    thanks

There are plenty of WiFi results in a simple search.

You could get an Apple TV or if it's too expensive, there is the option of an Android stick and AirPlay/DLNA Reciever Pro to mirror it. The Amazon Fire Stick and AirPlay/DLNA Reciever Pro will do the job too.

I have a amazone fire stick and I dont know how to set it up so i can mirror my iphone
I have to download Reflector or Reflector2 to my fire stick...I go to browse apps on the stick and see no way to search for apps.. I search for Reflector on my iphone and dont see an app that relates to mirroring

I dont know what DLNA Reciever Pro is, or hhow to use it?

what I need is a step by step guide for how to get my iphone to be mirrored to my tv

It's actually easier to follow links on the internet than it is for us to do exactly the same for you.
If you can't follow internet guides to ways of doing something you want, then get a friend or relative to help you. Online is much more complex. If you seriously do need IT help, then go on a course.
The one link you moan about - which I gave as an example - was one of many you would see if you do the search term I suggested.

    I do appreciate the help
not moaning, but giving you an example of the problem I face
Yes, there are many ways to find a solution to this issue I have, I'm simply explaining why the solutions you offer, "go do a google search!" arent worthwhile for me.
    Online is much more complex?
not really, its actually really easy, much easier than a course, etc
least it should be. giving someone a step by step written directions? that's not hard, is it?

Doing an internet search for 'iPhone to TV wireless' shows you all the links you need. If you can't follow them then get someone who can help you. It's as simple as that. If you don't your knowledge of use of those devices will never improve. A support forum isn't about doing everything that you can do just as easily.

LOLz, well we have different ideas about what a support forum is about,
Im not trying to become an apple genius

but I have an Iphone, if I just bought an Apple TV box, couldnt I just mirror my phone(Netflix/amazon prime) to my tv?

If you want to use an Apple product to show its content on a TV then you do have to become knowledgable about it. There is no alternative unless you engage someone in a business to do it for you with a payment.
The very first link anyone gave you was the one in post #2.
Other posters gave you other options.
The rest is down to you.

Yes, but you will need to learn to follow directions to do it.

yeah, I can follow directions,, the problem, in case you are wondering is FINDING directions to follow
Google whatever and I can't find directions to folow
which is why I ask stuff on the forum, not to be told to GOOGLE IT, but someone gives me directions

do you see directoins anywhere here?
or just "GOOGLE IT" which does not lead to step by step directions that a bone head like me needz

It is in the user guides for any of the several products you can use in the links already provided to you.
The internet is the first place you should research for any IT issue. If you can't follow links by OPENING THEM and then reading on their website the instructions for use, then no one here can help you and post #11 above applies. You may need to find a friend or relative to help you.
All the devices concerned, whether it be the iPhone or the software to relay it to the TV have their own support websites and their own user guides.

    that's just it
I dont have any gizmos to do what I want don
    I have nothing to read
and the internet isnt really great at searching and finding an answer to my simple question*
    remember that?
    back in post 1?
hOW CAN I MIRROR MY IPHONE TO MY TV?

SO Im looking for experiences and thoughts
there are "directions" that I'm not doing.

I am thinking about getting an apple tv.....does anyone have any experiences, good or bad, with that?

I'm lost to why just giving a opinion of what works best is so hard?

The two easiest ways to mirror your iPhone to your TV involve buying one or the other of two items:
    1. Lightning Digital AV Adapter
    or
    2. Apple TV

The adapter at point one is the cheapest being just under one third of the cost of an Apple TV.
That choice is yours and that was offered to you in post #2 above two weeks ago.
The chances of anyone here having the direct experience of both an iPhone and mirroring it to a TV is obviously rare or you would have had such replies already, which is why getting help on an Apple support forum would have been the obvious and logical original step.
You either read the very simple and straight-forward guide given in post #2, get help on an Apple Forum, or you go into an Apple store and seek their help.

Just repeating here, again and again that you want someone to literally walk you through a process (that is shown in the guides linked to) they themselves haven't carried out is utterly pointless. If you can't be bothered to sit and read the guides yourself - alone or with a friend/relative - then I suggest you locate and PAY someone to do it for you.
