   I am trying to watch videos on laptop that were recorded with iphone. The default it open with is wmp, but it says it does not support the file or codec. Do I need to convert the file from the iphone?

   Do you have Apples Quicktime installed or try and open with iTunes, I dont have the 3GS model only the 3G, but if its Apple then they will have it open with Quicktime or iTunes, so try that, or could download VistaCodec Pack (works for XP as well) and see if the video opens in WMP, if yo uhave Windows 7 then you 'll need the Windows 7 codec pack also on the MGs downloads pages for Multimedia
