IPod Classic checked playlist items

    I have an older IPod Classic and yesterday I added some new playlists and today (19 Dec 2011) I opened ITunes to finish adding them and got a message that in order for them to play they need to be checked but I can't get them to stay checked :( Any help would be greatly appreciated :) Thank You :major

    But by 'Checked' Do you mean checkable boxes not staying checked or the songs are required to be checked(Inspected)?

    Maby a screen shot would be appropriate or the message is a quoatation.
