iPod help....

Im getting a new pc this week ( finally ) and so obviously im not going to have my 1800 song playlist which is on my old pc on the new pc...

Does anyone know how to put all 1800 songs from my iPod onto the new pc?, because i dont want to plug the iPod into my new pc and have all the songs wiped off because the new pc's playlist is empty.

Another way i thought of getting my music onto my new pc would be through 'Windows Media Connect', i know that when i connect my XBOX 360 to the pc i can see all of my music and play it through the pc but does anyone know if this will work with 2 pc's?

 

what about trying to dl itunes onto the new computer, and burning the songs to dvds from the old machine and then uploading them back into itunes on the new machine? or you could simply locate the itunes library folder and try moving it via a external harddrive or buring the folder to a dvd as well....if all else fails read this, step by step instructions for someone in your situation on how to do it..hope this helps!:major
