   I am having a problem with windows/my iPod, and I don't know if it's malware or just nothing. But the name of my iPod in windows(when it shows up under "portable devices") is wrong and I can't change it. But it has the right name in iTunes, so even if I change it there its name is still wrong under windows. I am running through the proses removing all the malware I can, but is this a bad sign? rolleyes

   The probability that this is malware is very low. I suggest that you post in the Software Forum for help. But try right clicking on the device in the list you are looking at and see if it allows you to rename it.
   
   
   [EDIT] I see you have a malware thread going already! You should have stayed in that thread and you should complete it before worrying about anything else.
