Okay I found my old nano in my closet it was perfectly fine before it still turns on charges and plays the songs currently on it but. now I can't seem to get any of my computers or ps3 to recognize my ipod yet when I use my dads or my moms it works fine. Itunes doesn't recognize the ipod either and I have done the following

    Removed and Re installed Itunes
Downloaded and installed the lastest version
    Reset it countless times
and it still doesn't work frustrating -_-.

i could only suggest 2 things one if you have the ipod disk that came with it try resetting to factory settings

2 try getting an older version of itunes

itunes is usually fussy wouldent recognize my touch sometimes but all i did was close itunes, plug in the ipod, open itunes and it would show up

    good luck
