Ipod to pc transfer.......

I recently had a drive crash on me. Lost all of the movies and music that I have downloaded from Limewire. What's the best way to transfer the media from my ipod back to my pc? I am running winows xp. o I need some type of software? If so, are there any good free ones?

not if I didn't buy all the music from them.
All of my music came from limewire and cd's.
Trying to avoid all the time it takes to download
hundreds of cds. They won't replace the limewire music.
I'm sure that they could do something about the movies,
but lately have had problems recieving complete downloads from them.

 

what i mean is cant you just syncronize it, and it transfers to the pc? sorry, but I don't have an ipod, so I don't know for sure how to do this.

 

It doesn't work like that.... When attached it'll ask if you want to sync iPod to current itunes library. You don't have the option to transfer from iPod to pc at all. Unless there is some secret. I'm no real computer guy. I just try to solve what I can myself. Awful expensive to have someone babysit me through every move. I'm no beginner, either. I just tinker with my own computer abit.

 

There was some software out there to "unlock" the iPod.

I'll see if I can dig it up.

And, P.S. don't mention publicly where your music came from!
