Ipod touch recognized by itunes but not computer

    I just got an 8GB 4th generation ipod touch. I can sync it to Itunes for music and it charges no problem. However, anything else won't sync. I noticed that when I go to My Computer, there is no recognition that it is plugged into the computer. I have tried 3 different 2.0 USB ports.

    I'm running a pc and not a mac, so I'm wondering if there is something else I need to do for it to be recognized.

    Inside itunes you can set the ipod to manual management. That should allow it to appear under my computer.
