    I have been looking into ways to transfer Itunes libraries from one PC to another but I have a further problem that I then also want to then use a new Ipod with the new PC. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and what is the simplest way as some methods look complicated. I do have an external HD that I can use.

    Thanks In Advance

    There is one way to transfer files from the iPod. Make hidden files and folders visible, and you should be able to see the music on your pod. It should be listed as a removable drive in 'My Computer'. On mine it's marked as F. So go into it and...

    F -> iPod_Control -> Music

    and in the Music folder is where all your music will be. They will be in a bunch of folders called "F?" where the "?" represents a number. I have no idea what organizational scheme it uses. Your filenames will be garbaged, for instance Track 7 on the Essential Clash CD is called ADOQ.mp3 for some reason. Your ID3 tags will be intact, so iTunes or any other software capable of reading said tags will be able to tell you what the song is.

    Not sure how to use multiple iPods for itunes though
