Does anybody own one..... I wanted one for Christmas but I saw the price and flipped out......

Check out www.newegg.com That's where I direct my friends looking for mp3 players. They have great prices! Also, majorgeeks.com has a price grabber where you can check the prices of several places all in one.

 

I've got a 4th gen. 20 GB iPod ($299.99), and I'm running out of space already. There are comparable products, but they aren't much cheaper, either.

Things to consider before you buy:
1 make sure it plays your music files.
2 you'll need enough memory to hold enough songs to last your day-128 MB will hold approximately 25 4 minute mp3 songs @ 128kbps

 

I've got a 3rd generation 15gb, and after the initial sticker shock, I can't live without it. Not to mention that it works as a regular USB hard drive too... so you can back up important stuff to it
