IPP Print Server and Dynamic IP

I set up an internet print server, and have configured my router to forward to it. I can print to it OK. Problem remains that, since I am on PPPoE DSL, my WAN IP will be changing regularly. I can easily determine my current IP, but I hate to think that I will have to reinstall the printer every time the WAN IP changes in order to print to it. I'm sure there's something simple like a .bat or .reg file I can set up with the IP address of the moment in order to modify the necessary registry settings. Any one in a similar situation solve this, or know of a more elegant solution?

I figured this out: I installed the IPP printer again at the remote computer, but this time specified its location as http://[non-existent-domain-name]:631/lpt1. Then I edited my hosts file to add the line "xx.xx.xxx.xxx [non-existent-domain-name]" where xx.xx.xxx.xxx is the current WAN IP of the DSL session. If I can create a .bat that lets me automate the editing, I'll be set.
