Is Adobe Reader Lite 9.1.0.29 Now Secure?

In view of the recent security alerts for Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash,

I want to know if it is safe to use Adobe Reader Lite 9.1.0.29 ?

A patch was issued for the reader on August 3, 2009, but I do not know if the patch can be applied to the Lite version.

I removed the reader (and Flash) at the time of the alerts and have installed Foxit PDF reader as an alternative.

I would like to re-install Adobe Reader Lite but don't know if the security problem will still exist with that implementation.

Anyone have any info about this?

The Lite version has been release earlier, so it is not patched.

No new Lite versions will be released, as this is in violation of a Adobe's copyright and EULA.

I prefer Adobe over Foxit and I have already installed ver. 9.1.3.
