is advanced systemcare 7 pro free?

i've been using advanced systemcare 7 for a while on my hp laptop (it did have windows vista but i downgraded it to windows xp) but recently my laptop had seemed a bit sluggish after upgraded advanced systemcare to version 7 so i started to ubinstall it and got an offer for adavanced systemcare 7 pro for free.
has anyone else get that offer and how long is it good for and when it's expired will i be able to back out from it without having to buy it??

I'm afraid that you misunderstood. It is a bit confusing and misleading the way that window pops up while uninstalling. However, nowhere on the picture which you provided does it say PRO.

I saw the .pic attachment and the window clearly states: "Get Advanced SystemCare FREE Now" - meaning the FREE version is available if you continue and not the PRO version.

You can actually see the descriptions of the THREE entirely different versions available from the at the main website for this ASC program at the bottom of the page at the following link.

Do I need to register to get the PRO version?
Yes, you need to manually register the program with the license code you purchased. The license code can be found in the email you received after you purchased the program. ​

well in advanced systemcare 7 i can access the pro functions without it asking me to activate asc.:confused
i'm just hoping it's not malware or a scam.

 

Let me see what you are talking about take a picture i do scans and testing consistently with Iobit products.

I saw the picture let me find some info.

 

Most of that stuff is what i call nag wear where it nags you to buy it.It is no real big deal.

I have windows xp on my system as well and it seems to run fine.When was the last time you have done a full virus or malware scan.

 

I am using advanced systemcare 7 pro and it runs really well with windows 7 x64. I would recommend in purchasing the pro version.

 

As noted above you were offered the Free version not the Pro version

Could it be you had Advanced SystemCare 7 Beta installed ?
Beta software often has all the features available so they can be tested by everyone but when the software reaches the Release stage the Pro (shareware) features are disabled in the Free version

Most nagware is designed to get the user to ugrade from the free version to the shareware version of the software.
When Advanced SystemCare Pro (shareware) is being uninstalled the user is offered the Free version which they can accept or decline.
I don't see this as nagware, I think this is a thoughtful, helpful and generous offer by IObit. If the user can't afford the Pro version they will still get many of the features in the Free version

 

i looked at it yesterday and it seems to be a three month trial version of asc pro, it listed how many days i have left of the trial version (at the time it was 89 days) and i did a full scan with avast anti virus it found nothing wrong.
