Is Agnitum fooling us?

Today I opened the control panel on Agnitum's Outpost Security Suite 7 Free. I clicked on update. It went through the update process. I then restarted my PC. Then, I ran update again in Agnitum's Outpost Security Suite 7 Free. It updated again. I anticipated a message telling me that Agnitum's Outpost Security Suite 7 Free was up-to-date. I've noticed this before. Does this programme appear to go through an update process to convince us we're being protected when in fact nothing is really being updated. I find it beyond belief that after updating this application another update can be avialble moments later. This might happen once but not on a regular basis.
