Is Anyone else having problems since Microsoft 'WMF' Patch released?

Is Anyone else having problems since Microsoft 'WMF' Patch released? I downloaded it right away, rebooted...

I have a Pentium with WinXP Home Ed. I run lots of spyware/malware progs (ccleaner, Spybot, Ad-Aware, CleanUp4.6, Spyware Blaster, ... , Avast 4.6 Home Ed, firewall) and I scan and clean several times thru the day.

Since installing this latest patch however, my pc runs incredibly slow and won't reboot without a hard boot. Has anyone run into this issue yet? If so, any idea on how to fix it?

HELP, this is making me crazy.
