Sorry Bazza ..I don't play with betas ...I let others do that so they can then post on the forums for help with fixing their systems afterwards......

    Me too, usually. ;)
But I notice that a few MG 'ers have downloaded it, :) and taken the time to vote on it.
So I thought I would ask. Bazza

Not as yet Bazza as I have been a little pre-occupied inthe past two days, did get an email invite from the MS OneCareLive beta team to try it with Vista as its now compatible and submit feedback, may take them up on this test.

Have you tried it Bazza or waiting for some users who have first?

    Some notables are:

Supported OS's are Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista (build 5500 or greater, recommended build is 5600 aka RC1) No x64 OS's are supported as yet ( which means I will have to install x86 Vista )

Supported Countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, UK, US.

Also the cavet to not having two Antivirus or Firewall applications will most likely apply to running of this app ( especially as I just read the install intructions ) as these packages will conflict from Symantec, McAfee and Trend, with OneCareLive

    As to your questions:

The blog site from the dev team on this will answer all I hope

Not as yet, but will do in next few days.

Thanks Halo and TimW for your replies. Looks like fun to try.;) (joke) LOL :D

I haven't tried it yet, as I only downloaded it today.

Will check out the links provided by you guys, but will probably chicken out until I read of others experiences. Bazza

    @Halo@

Just trying to read the blog on http://windowsonecare.spaces.live.com/
Is there any way to reverse the blog so that the earliest posts are shown first.

I always read MG threads from latest to earliest, but would like to reverse the order on the MS blog if possible, even if I have to reset something each time I read it. Bazza

    Thanks, TimW.

On the blog question Bazza, dont think so as they are not customisable liek this forum and stay in the linear latest post first.

I got the email too, I did test an early beta a while back when all the live stuff kicked off, I didn't really like it though for at least 2 reasons.

It wasn't configurable enough for me. I like to play with settings.

It required a subscription after the beta period has expired.

Please Note: This may no longer be the case and I may be doing it an injustice.

And I assume that you will have to be permanently connected to MS, while on line, to take advantage of the features, and safeguards. Bazza
