I never really max out things in one of my desktops, play games very little and when i do they are usually in medium settings tops.

I do some video rendering and some minor editing but not for too long so the temperatures don't really climb too high.

Just web browsing my hard drive's temperature is at a steady 34C

    Cpu core 0- 33 C
    Cpu core 1- 36 C
    Gpu - 38-40 C

Now whenever my nephew comes over he likes to play games on my desktop and cranks everything on high settings and does some minor video editing too ( or at least getting into it).

The temperatures for then climb up to:
    Hard drive - 39 C
    cpu core 0 - 61-63
    cpu core 1- 62-65
    Gpu - 72-75 C

For comparison when i run my things in medium settings i get these:
    HD- 37C
    cpu core 0- 49 C
    cpu core 1- 50-51 C
    gpu- 52-56 C

Is this acceptable? Since my case is an hp small form factor design there isn't a whole lot of room for great ventilation, i did take off the back panels to allow better ventilation.

I was wondering if it would be better to take off the side panel when my nephew uses it since he cranks the settings high or would take not matter too much?
