.... to have a bottle of Beck's German beer, and have it taste exactly like canabis?

Not unless you've smoked so much cannabis you can't actually taste the beer.

 

That would mean the munchies... uhh, i mean... crisps would taste like it too, and they dont

 

Nooooo, the mind still has the ability to taste food even when in this state otherwise the munchies would be completely wasted, a little like yourself actually.

 

LOL belive me im not actually wasted... just this beer (the last bottle left!) reminded me distinctly of some form of canabis. Hmmm...

I remember one time thinking that a bottle of skunked Heineken I had smelled like bong water... it was even about the same temperature. Then I decided to call it a night and go home... only it was mid-morning by then and I had completely missed the sun coming up. Now THAT was a killer party

Not sure i should say this, but y'know when someone is crumbling some of that resin stuff for a joint (not that i'd ever partake in such activities ), i think it smells like sausages on a bbq. Anyone with me on this?

Some people I know in real life, smoke weed, and drink... alot.I don't know what else they do, and I honestly I don't even want to know. A couple of them have been arrested before. They're so stupid. They're throwing their life away.

I'm not implying you're like the Goldfish.

This just reminded me of them.

They make me mad.

Most things like alcohol etc. are OK in moderation. There is always going to be some idiot that has to go over the top.

 

Dang, it's a looong while since I heard that album, as for the rest of the conversation, I have no idea what any of you are talking about

 

Ok well its legal to drink alcohol in private here from about the age of 7 and up, and my parents have taught me how to drink in moderation. I'm not an alcoholic or anything, and I hardly ever do spirits (unless its a REALLY special occasion... even then hardly any, I do like a nice G+T on the odd occasion ). I'm really glad my parents taught me this... especially when I see some of my friends who havn't learnt this and now with their new found freedom of being able to do what they like they go crazy and get just monged. Example ... last night I went to a friends for the evening to have a small party for the end of exams. We had a large crate of fosters, with no intention to go through them all. Most of us had a total of two or three beers, and a little archers and coke. My friend completley ignored our warnings to stop drinking and just kept going, and the day after he really regretted it badly.

Its true, I do smoke as well, but really wish I didn't. All of these things are things that I do occasionally and its not like my lifestyle. I don't frett about it all day when my next drink is going to be, or where I'm going to get my next packet of cigarettes from. If I don't have spare money to smoke... I don't buy fags. Simple really. It does waste my money... but like I said I wish I didn't smoke. I'm working on it

I do see where you're coming from, and I do know people who seem to do nothing else with their lives other than look for drugs and drink constantly, and its really rather sad

 

i know im about to open a bag of worms ...but...
as half of the US appears to be on prozac, and even worse half their kids appear to be on rittaline, i think conversations about drug taking and the whole 'war against drugs' thing is misplaced . we as a society are teaching our children that in order to be 'normal' we must take drugs. as far as im concerned any DR. prepared to prescibe prozac to someone, ought to be prepared to prescribe cannibis instead. just my humble opinion. dont jump down my throat. aloha

LaurieB I think it depends on the person. You can't force somebody to drink, its a decision made on their own. And I think the statement:

is ridiculous We make our own decisions and choices in life. Some are good, some are bad. There is no point in blaming it on everyone else.If someone messes their life up then thats all on them. No one made them take a sip of alcohol, or smoke. Its entirely up to them. Thats just my opinion though
