Is it possible to copy & email a font?

I used a font on an art project that one of my friends really likes and would like to have on her computer. She lives far, far away, so I'm wondering if I can somehow copy or send the font to her as an attachment. It's not on the free fonts site, so we can't get it that way.

I've already tried it using the normal attachment route, but when I click on the font icon for the font I want, there is no option to copy, send, etc.

    Thanks.

    The following may work.

You'll have that font file by the name of the font in c:\windows\fonts.

Copy that and then send it as an attachment. Let her download and copy that file to c:\windows\fonts of her computer.

Junior Jeeves, I tried that, but there's no option to "copy." Right click--no option. Go to "file" at top of screen--no option. It seems that the font file is somehow secured against copying. But...heh heh...there has to be a way!

Will leave this open for suggestions.

    Thanks.

Try clicking the attach button in your email program and navigating to the above directory and attaching it that way. The person you send it to must save it in the same location.
