Is it possible to upgrade L2 cache?

    I'm using speech recognition software and I'm told the accuracy/performance of this software improves the more L2 cache you have. I have 2 mb on both of my computers. I heard some computers come with 4 mg cache. Is there a way to upgrade my computers?

    I hope this isn't a dumb question. I admit I'm clueless when it comes to L2 cache. Any advice is appreciated.
