I have an inspiron 8500 laptop with nvidia mobile go 64mb, 2.2ghz, 512mb ram.
I was wondering can i upgrade it to something that can handle Doom 3 and Half-life 2 well.
I dont currently have those games i want to upgrade first if that is possible.

laptop video chips are almost always integrated into the motherboard, thus making it impossible to upgrade. sorry.

Yeah, I think only newer laptops that have been released within the past few months from certain companies have parts that are removable and are able to be upgraded.
