    Hi

I was using my mothers computer yesterday and it struck me it looked a lot like it was in safe mode (bigger icons etc). If it is then it's booting itself into safe mode without being promted. Apparently it's looked this way since a windows update.

Is there any way to tell if it is booting into safe mode?

    It's running vista.

    Thanks

    Uli

    Click Display Settings
Check your settings are correct for your screen size if they're not then reset them to the required settings !

You will see the words safe mode in all four corners of the screen if indeed you are in safe mode :)
