Is my HD done for?

    I've been trying to install Photoshop which is a little over 150mb. Everytime I try to install it the blue screen pops up and I get the Kernel Data Inpage Error. Does anyone know what the cause of this can be and if it can be fixed? Or is my HD on its way out? I can really use some help

    Do you get this problem with other installs or is it just this software?
    If not, then try Photoshop install on another cpu and see if the same problem arises.

    nope its only a problem when I try to install, I don't understand why because I've sucessfully installed it b4
