    Hey all.

So the title pretty much says it all!
I have recently purchased a new PC and have had nothing but problems with BSODS (99% sure due to the Overclock the company placed on it)

    The specs are as follows:

    CPU: Intel i7 2600K Over Clocked @4.5
    CPU Cooling: ThermalTake Frio
    MB: Asus p8z68 v pro
    RAM: 8Gb 1600mhz corsair ram
HD: 2x 120 GB Corsair Force Series 3 SATA III Gaming MLC Solid State Raid 0
HD2: 1TB Sata III 7200RPM for data drive
    GPU: Nvidia GTX 580 1.5gb
    PSU: Corsair 1050 Watts HX1050W

I would like to mention that I have never overclocked before now so I am pretty new when It comes to whats safe/correct. Hence why I decided to leave that to the PC company which was sadly unsuccessful :confused

Currently after sending about 45-50 emails to there tech support I think I have found a stable state (Using prime95, Realtemp, CPUz) but I cant say I fully trust there advice when they sent it to me badly set up in the first place.

So if someone could look over my bios settings and give me any Advice on Improvements/ corrections that would be greatly welcomed.

*** Note I do not intend to ever take my OC past 4.5 as I do not need to I just wish to find a Stable State! ***

My Bios settings are as follows:

    AI Overclock tuner: Manual
    BCLK/PCIE Frequency: 100.0
    Turbo Ratio: by all cores
    Internal PLL overvoltage: Enabled
    Memory Frequency: DDR3 1600mhz
    EPU Power saving mode: Disabled

    Loadline Calibration: High
    VRM Frequency: Auto
    Phase control: Extreme
    Duty Control: T.probe
    CPU Current copability: 100%

    CPU Voltage: Manual
CPU manual voltage: 1.375 (Requested to be set by tech support)
    DRAM Voltage: 1.65000
    VCCIO Voltage: Auto
CPU PLL Voltage: 1.86250 (Requested to be set like this from auto by tech support)
    PCH Voltage: Auto
DRAM Data REF Voltage on CHA: Auto
DRAM CTRL REF Voltageon CHA: Auto
DRAM Data REF Voltage on CHB: Auto
DRAM CTRL REF Voltageon CHB: Auto
CPU Spread Spectrum: Disabled (Requested by Tech support)

Ok so thats all of my settings and at the moment i am 1 hour into a prime 95 test with CPU temps of around 60-64oC and so far so good. My Main concern Is that this will be 100% Safe to my PC and CPU as I am aware with overclocking Its best to take baby steps... But there tech support seemed to just give me values to enter with little or no explanation to what they actually do leaving me in the dark!

    Thanks In advance.

    Matt.
